团队长期深耕于工智能理论方法及面向自然语言处理、网络挖掘等方面的应用研究。团队负责人刘杰博士现为南开大学人工智能学院教授、博士生导师，担任AAAI，IJCAI，KDD等AI顶级国际会议程序委员会委员，以及中国计算机学会中文信息技术专委、中国计算机学会大数据专委、人工智能学会机器学习专委等多个专委委员及通讯委员。主持国家、省部级项目以及多项企业合作科研项目的研发，相关成果获得天津市科技进步二等奖两项。

       团队成员包括多名博士及硕士研究生，在人工智能领域的国际顶级会议和期刊发表论文多篇，曾获ICDAR 2011国际竞赛亚军、NLPCC 2016最佳论文奖、2017 CCF大数据与计算智能大赛特等奖及一等奖，以及2017中国高校计算机大赛移动开发赛一等奖。
