Personal Profile
Lorenzo Calibbi received a PhD in physics at the University of Padua, Italy, in 2007, after which he held postdoctoral positions in Italy, Germany and Belgium. In 2015, he moved to China to work as senior research associate at the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Beijing and, since 2019, as associate professor at the School of Physics of Nankai University. His research focuses on theory and phenomenology of particle physics beyond the Standard Model, in particular: flavour physics (lepton flavour violation, hadronic flavour/CP violation, flavour models), dark matter model building and phenomenology, searches for new physics at colliders, and the interplay among the all these ways of looking for new phenomena.
